Here are some tips on starting your DTS conversion plan:

Gather how many DTS packages you have and their complexity. The project profiling feature in DTS xChange will help you achieve these numbers based on DTS package complexity.
Convert a package manually and get a sense for how long it will take you, then convert the same package with DTS xChange. An average manual conversion is about 4 hrs the same conversion should take you less than 30 minutes with DTS xChange.
These numbers will give you a good estimate for your conversion project and tell you if you have the people, time, and budget to meet your goal.
